The monkey has both hands up and incised bands in body with dots in the interior. Two incised bands with twelve horizontal and incised lines each: one in the middle and the other one near the point. Mask with projecting eye ridges and a projecting nose with two circular, white nostrils on either side, and a base painted white. The head is cone-shaped. Red triangles project from the top of the head at the front. It is painted green and black on one side with a white stripe. The right side is painted red with a white stripe and a border of alternating black and white triangles.

Dark carving has large protruding circular eyes and a hooked beak nose. In profile, the head is encased in a crescent-like shape for hair ? that thins out along the lower portion below and in front of the hooked beak nose. Has a large belly with the hands clasped underneath.

Rectangular piece of off-white handmade Chinese paper. Paper is undecorated and coarse, with rough edges.

The tapa cloth is natural in colour with designs in greyish-dark green. There are two repeating designs: a human-like figure with a long body and a shape resembling a sideways 'H'. The figures are repeated in rows, on one side of the cloth.
