Gemsbok bone arrowhead with a wide curved triangular head that is double barbed. Natural light brown colour. Carved to taper opposite point.

Irregular, somewhat conical shape; sponge-like surface has several indentations and numerous scrape marks. It has a large hole part way into the centre, with lacy bone material lining and partially covering it. Recessed sections are cream-coloured in contrast to the greyish-brown bone.

The point is plain wood decorated with a 11 cm. sleeve of red and brown grass. The 21 cm. tip of the point has six irregular barbs, and the tip is wrapped with cane strip.
