Light-brown coloured circular dish-shaped mould with protruding rectangular piece. Front surface of circular form has series of lines radiating outwards and carved around its perimeter. In the centre of the piece there are four Chinese characters carved into the wood. The back of the object is smooth.

Carved male figure hook, with a crocodile projecting from neck area and pointing downwards with its mouth open. Exposed genital areas and torso with his ribs carved in relief. On the reverse, the figures spine is protruding. The head is crowned or framed by flat m shape headdress decorated with rows cowrie shells and small, dense bundles of sinnet fibres along edges. The face has protruding eyes inlaid with shell and extended nose which reaches into chin. Arms are extended straight along body with open palms that face thighs. Feet attached to carved hook. Hook has a circular carved face protruding out of lower end. The figure is painted with a black pigment then covered in orange clay dust.

Carved male figure hook. Arms extended parallel to body with palms facing inward. The figure is decorated with stylized designs carved in relief on the head, chest and around the feet. His sides have a c-shaped pattern that runs around to the back. A small crocodile sits on the figures chest with its head raised and the tip of its nose meeting the figure’s nose. Exposed genital area. Elaborately carved feet and hands. The face has large protruding forehead and eyes that are inlaid with circular flat shells, large protruding nostrils and flatter closed mouth. Cassowary feathers are attached around the rim of the head along which is decorated with a thick border of small shells. The figure is covered in a black pigment.
