Round hollow head with metal crown, sides carved to sit on shoulders, and deeply carved face. Metal plate on top with hole at center. Black paint around eyes, nose, mouth and back of head. Brown paint on cheeks and ears.
Wooden spinning wheel with long wooden bar that joins two feet at the base, and two wooden cogs attached to a handle at the widest end of the base. The mechanism turns the metal wheel, which has four wooden spokes. A piece of twine runs around the wheel and a small metal cylinder that has a groove at its centre at the other end of the spinning wheel. The metal cylinder is attached to a metal bar that turns.
An extremely long wood pole which tapers slightly. There is an hour-glass shaped wood handle. Bark is coiled around the pole.
Dark red humanoid devil-like mask with long strands of fibrous, twined brown hair. Face has two bulging white eyes, a rounded, protruding nose, four protruding, elongated teeth, white tusk-like shells(?) set into the mouth, cheek and forehead, protruding ears and a golden, scalloped headdress. Dangling from the figure's mouth, representing a tongue, is a long strip of red velvet-like material trimmed with golden paper featuring elaborate cutwork; six alternating large and small paper rosettes with circular mirror insets in the centre line the velvet strip. A red flame-shaped paper piece protrudes from the crown of the head, giving the impression of a rooster's comb.
Part a: loom with weaving and poles; part b: top wooden piece; part c: bottom wooden piece; part d: wooden peg; part e: knotted piece of string. The thick wooden upper piece (part b) and lower piece (part c) flank a row of fine wooden slates with a piece of white, red and blue weaving in progress (part a). The threads continue beneath the lower piece and are wrapped around eight poles.
Basket with cone-shaped wooden frame and woven sides. Six branches form the conical frame, attached at the top to a circular branch with thin strips of hide. The sides are an open, twilled weave of black and white hair. There is a long strap attached to one side of the frame, also woven black and white hair.
Bentwood box, fastened with cedar bark at seam, with base (part a), lid (part b) and woven cedar pouch inside (part c). Outside edges of lid and base covered in red ochre; traces of ochre over entire outer surface. Two sides each have two small holes for handles of which only a small piece remains.
Coiled cedar root cradle with parallel wood slat base construction. Wide, rounded walls at proximal end and narrow, flat walls at distal end. Overcast rim is decorated with red beading. Intricate white beaded design around the proximal end which covers the four top slats with five rows of beading per slat. The white imbrication also covers almost one entire side of the cradle, and about one third of the other side. Red cherry bark designs, in arrow shapes, are on one side as well. The distal end is undecorated.
The object has a wood handle which is rounded out and tapers down where a metal point is at the end.
Tumbuan body mask/costume. Mask is composed of a conical basketry top with woven facial features near the top, which is finished with a lip that juts upwards and outwards to form a circle as viewed from the top. The top is painted in alternating white and orange vertical bands. The bottom of the mask is finished with a long fringe attached to a ring of bent branch.
