Gong Beater1170/24

Round, wooden beater with small hollowed area for a handle. One end is decorated with two carved bands, one of triangles and yellow and pink zigzag lines and one of red diamonds with white outlines. The handle has a craved band at either end; top has same diamond band as at other end and bottom has two incised bands with cream band in between them.

Gong Beater1170/21

Beater with a wooden shaft and head of tightly coiled, twined, red cord. Shaft has four rounded waves at its end, each with an incised band around at crest. The handle than tapers toward head before flaring to a flat area with three incised lines right below the head. Top of head and handle end are both rounded. Head is slightly bulbous.

Harpoon1158/4

Bone harpoon that articulates with bone capped long wooden shaft. Skin ties lash the harpoon to the shaft. Small wooden hook on one side of wood shaft. Resin(?) spots on harpoon, near articulated joint, covers metal screws.

Dark brown skin kayak over wood frame. Prow has different coloured skin. Wood framed and screwed rim over cockpit. Skin on inside of cockpit is tied to sides of wooden frame with sinew. Skin straps across the deck in front and behind cockpit are screwed on. Short angled piece of antler(?) tied with skin at one side of wooden cockpit frame.

Drum1157/5

Drum composed of a carved wooden base, incised with lines in v-shapes around base and border of zigzag lines around top, and with a dark brown finish. The top of the drum is covered in stretched reptile skin. The rim of the drum base is smaller than the top circumference, and the base tapers inwards from the bottom rim, and then back out wider to the top of the drum.
