Cylindrical, tapered, hollow wood piece. The bottom third has been carved with geometric designs, the top has texture from the carving. The carved area is narrower than the top. The base has two points that the drum rests on. Fibre is tied around the bottom and halfway up.
Carved wooden yipwon (hook figure). Flat, rectangular wood piece with a slight curve at the bottom and a taper to a rounded end. The front has three dimensional carving, starting at the top: two hooks facing each other, elongated human face with shell inlay eyes, three carved projections, one hook facing up. The base of the hook is carved in relief with a stylized geometric design. In the cuts is a white pigment.
Single piece of wood roughly carved into a bell shape with a deep round bowl tapering to a protruding base. Carved line encircles the rim and another encircles the bottom third of the bowl. Two holes pierce the base.
Basket hook with a shaft formed by a male figure carved in profile with an extended nose and mouth that down to his belly, and his hands hold the nose. A cord is attached for hanging through a hole at the top of the figure's head. The hook is double-sided.
Dark and light brown basketry bowl; dark circular centre with 5 dark flared bands radiating from centre to outer edge. Lighter flared bands alternate between dark. Outer rim is dark with checker work below. Designs tend to be horizontally banded and include; deer, lizards ?, other 4 legged animals, a human, crosses, arrows, rectangles and t-shapes.
A rectangular loom with an incomplete fabric attached. The loom is made of four slightly smoothed sticks lashed together with strips of sheep-hide. The mottled red warps are lashed to each end bar with separate cords. Thick grey and black striped fabric is at one end of the taut; closely spaced warps. A length of grey and black weft yarn is still attached.
Triangular shaped wooden prow with a cylindrical shaped base that tapers to a point. The sides of the base are incised with a repeating stylized geometric design. Attached below is a framework of triangular shapes intermixed with fish and bird heads. White pigment outlines the shapes while orange pigment is added to the engravings. Five fibre tassels hang from the base.
A wood horizontal element stained dark brown and carved on the ends and on the underside in the form of a double-headed reptile with bird-like heads lying on the back of the necks. Ridges on the underside are interrupted near one set of legs. Legs are of light brown wood cut and wrapped around the horizontal, then bound with fibre to form two a-shapes.
Spindle consisting of a wooden shaft with a cone shaped whorl positioned near one end. The whorl has several concentric lines and ridges on the rounded, bottom side. A small ball of paired black yarns, one alpaca and one wool, is attached to the cone of plied yarn which is wrapped on the shaft above the whorl.
Female face carved from poplar wood. Red paint on lips and around nostrils; black eyebrows and pupils. Protruding bottom lip has oval-shaped unpainted section across top. Mouth is open, revealing a full mouth of individually carved square teeth. Human hair emerges from scalp in tufts. A long rectangular strip of rabbit fur hangs on other side of the face. Leather thong for hanging. Artist signature on inside.
