Oval, coiled basket (part a) with lid (part b). Slat bottom on the sides and the lid. Lid (part b) has a handle in the centre and two rows of red and black cherry bark in a beaded design. Basket body (part a) and lower edge of the lid (part b) have continuous bands of white grass beading around the circumference. Each band is composed of three narrow strips.

Trunk-like basket with an attached lid. Rounded, rectangle with slat construction. Coiled with bifurcated stitches on the basket body and the outer edge of the lid. Cedar with imbricated design of cherry bark and grass. Lid has imbricated design on the outer edge and a small amount of beaded stripe design on top. Design on basket body consists of continuous vertical and horizontal bands where both beading and imbrication are used. Horizontal bands are thin strips of black and white beading. Vertical bands alternate black, red, and white imbrication with black and white beading similar to the horizontal bands. Leather handle on top of the lid and leather strips attaching the lid to the basket.

Rectangular trunk-like basket (a) with lid (b). Trunk flares out from slat bottom. Coiled with bifurcated stitches; beaded band design of wild cherry bark on lower edge of lid. Diamond-shaped motif imbricated in wild cherry bark and grass on top of lid. Main design on two sides and two ends consists of imbricated diamond in black and red cherry bark and grass; black and white cross imbricated inside each diamond; sides have vertical bands imbricated at each end, ends have imbricated checker design at top; continuous imbricated band along top and bottom; one coiled handle at each end.

Doll has rounded fixed head with molded features of crescentic eyebrows, inset crescentic eyes, and red mouth. Ridged body with soft upper arms and thighs and molded lower arms and legs. Kimono has floral design on red ground. Red and gold checkered obi and white tabi. Wooden post with calligraphy at back of doll. Noise box under obi.

Offering BowlIb250 a-b

Round offering bowl (part b) on a pedestal (part a). The pedestal has a circular base and a thick column leading to a large circular surface. The surface is unfinished, but the base and column are intricately painted with triangles, leafs and flowers in black, red and gold. The bowl has a lip around the rim where it sits when turned over as a lid and placed on the pedestal. There is also a round know that works as a handle. The bowl was painted in black, orange and white and is now mostly scratched off. The inside of the bowl is covered in black marks, possibly soot.

Same major design repeated on four sides, possibly a butterfly. Triple outline in red, black and white imbrication. Lid design of four horizontal rows of h-shapes, alternating black and white with red and white.
