Plain yellow-brown wood paddle. One side is darker than the other; the end of the handle has broken off.
Wooden paddle, painted and varnished on both sides. Design shows pencil marks, handle is red with small design of red and black bands. Lower section painted in red, black and blue. Blade is relatively flat with curved edges and tip, and handle is cylindrical near the centre of the paddle, but flattens towards the cylindrical handle grip.
Carved skull with hollowed eyes, now plugged. There are red circles around eyes, cheeks, nostrils and teeth. There is a black beard, a hole through the top of the head with a cord of fibrous material. Inscription written on back.
Carved skull with black hair, eyebrows and cheeks, red nostrils and teeth. Eyes are almost hollowed out, there are holes in both, and there is a hole at the top of the head.
Wooden skull with nearly hollow eyes, two holes in eyes and two holes at sides of temples, hole at top of head which goes through to the back; black hair, eyebrows, and sides, red cheeks, nostrils, and teeth.
Skull with red painted hair, black eyebrows, red cheeks, nose and mouth. There are three black teeth and two plain. The eyes are completely hollow. There is a hole through the top of the head, to back. The following is written on the back: "10.00."
Coiled basket (with bifurcated stitches). Watch-spring construction. Imbricated design of two full butterflies and two half butterflies at rim. One set is of black cherry bark with grass, one set is red cherry bark with grass.
Elliptical dark brown wooden bowl (part a) and lid (part b). The lid only fits partially over the sides of the bowl and has three plain, geometric-shaped ducks in a line lengthwise across top. Each is quite angled and abstract and the ends of the tail are incised. The heads and necks of the birds at the front and back are missing. The bowl has small, circular base, the sides flare gradually to a slight shoulder with a rectangular raised area at one end and the lip is angled on the inside. On the rim at each side is a row of incised triangles with the points facing inwards.
Thin brown smooth-backed wood piece. Narrow rectangular wood platform has on top seven metal tongues (keys), once nine, evenly-spaced in a row, placed lengthwise to the wood piece, and held in place by a lateral bar wrapped in metal strips that are inserted into the wood piece through to the back. Length of knotted hide strung through two holes at same end. Large hole in the middle of the wood piece. Lateral bar inserted in the edge with two loosely-wrapped metal bands. Carved with a main geometric design consisting of four parallel horizontal bands, from top to bottom: diagonal lines, opposing diagonal lines, four double-outlined u-curves, and four upside down u forms with diagonals inside.
Thin light to dark brown carved box resonator, open at the lower end, and tapering towards tapered metal tongues (keys) held relatively parallel to one another lengthwise on the top by a metal lateral bar, and spaced by short bent metal pieces inserted in wood. Tongues' lower ends upended by lateral bar placed underneath. Carved panel lower end has crossing diagonals and a large flat rounded nut strung on hide knotted through holes on either side widthwise across the panel. Small reddish brown nut-like metal container strung on left with cotton thread. Box opening has lateral metal bar with four loosely wrapped metal bands. Length of knotted fibre strung through two holes at box's upper end.
