Box made of unfinished light brown wood. Fan has eight split bamboo inner ribs and two carved bamboo parent ribs. Fan face of paper has gold background with tree scene of brown, blue and green with two white birds.
Folding fan with thirty-eight inner ribs of split bamboo and two perforated orange lacquered parent ribs. Covered with silver coloured paper on both sides, painted with design of flowers and leaves in light and dark red, yellow, black and white. Through white plastic rivet is strung a cord of pink silk 9 cm. Long (doubled), knotted, strung with transparent plastic bead.

Carved pattern is vertical zigzag lines separated from others by straight lines and bordered by four horizontal bands of the same. Extends down the length to cover one-fifth. Blunt opposite end is conical-shaped. Dark brown patina.
