Mask depicting Naga Sanniya (who represents bad dreams associated with snakes) with a dark pink face that has wide open eyes, each with a crescent-shaped slit underneath, a narrow bent nose with flared nostrils, arched black eyebrows, a small black moustache, and thin red lips open in a grin that exposes the teeth and outward curving fangs. The headdress resembles a turban in cobra form with the head protruding from the centre top of the mask and the tail wrapping around its body and ending between the eyes. The reverse has a label reading, "Naga - bad dreams conn. with snakes."
Mask representing a male humanoid face with movable eyeballs, ovoid in shape, that are wired into open sockets. Nose with rounded tip and flared nostrils. Very wide mouth extending to small ears. Hinged lower jaw with a protruding lower lip. Grey string beard and moustache. Black cloth behind mouth opening. The Mask is pink with black lines on the forehead, and red and white lines on the brows, cheeks, and nostrils. The bridge and tip of the nose are painted yellow.
Mask depicting a light greyish pink humanoid face with a raised brow ridge that shows the remains of painted black eyebrows, eyes that slant inwards under thick lids, a curved nose with small notstrils, a small mouth, and a protruding chin. There are two crescent-shaped holes, one under each eye, and two holes at the edge of the mask on either side. Twine made of plant fibre runs between the holes, and another length of twine is nailed to the mask at the top centre on the reverse side.
Mask depicting a fisherman (?) with an ovoid-shaped dark red face, black hair and arched brows, a small nose, large eyes each with a crescent-shaped hole beneath, flat-surfaced ears that angle outwards, and a red mouth with downturned corners. Yellow and black alternating curved lines on cheeks and nose. Small hole drilled through inner edge of ear on both sides.
Mask portraying Buta Sanniya (which represents derangement, distortion and listlessness of limbs) with a pink face that has arched eyebrows, semicircular eyes with crescent-shaped holes underneath, flared black nostrils, a mouth with upturned corners and a philtrum that points downwards. Three white lines on each cheek follow contour of the mouth corners, and the mouth and chin are outlined in white. A strand of twine is knotted through small holes on either side of the mask. The words "Buta - mad" are written in ink on the inside of the mask near the right eye.
Small, wooden humanoid mask painted in glossy dark green. Rounded forehead, black painted eyebrows. Large white painted eyes outlined in red with large black pupils; the plane of the eye socket slopes sharply backward and the eyes are bulging out of their sunken sockets. Slits for vision under the eyes, small bulbous nose with red nostrils; black beard and moustache of applied fabric, possibly wool. Open, downturned mouth with red lips; applied upper teeth cut from a single piece of plastic tacked to back of mask with the words "Perfumed Talc 100 gm" printed on back. The jaw is movable and affixed on either side with wire and red cord threaded through small holes. A fabric cord of red and dirty white is tied through each eye slit to attach mask to head of wearer. The mask appears to have an undercoat of orange paint. At the rear of the mask at the top is written in pencil, "abata undness".
Mask representing a tamil man ? with the face painted black, slightly bulging eyes with red rims and a crescent-shaped hole under each, a mouth with upturned corners, four teeth, and a large bottom lip that protrudes over a very small chin. Very small ears at either side of the mask each have a red centre and a hole through which is threaded a multicoloured fabric strap. The words "tamil man" are inscribed on the back near the top in black ink.
Mask depicting a humanoid face, painted dark green with a large red mouth that takes up roughly half the mask, and with large whitish teeth and curving fangs. High arched eyebrows with a lotus petal design protrude at the top, and the mask also has bulging white eyes with large black pupils that each have crescent-shaped slots beneath them. The nose is large with exaggerated open nostrils. A piece of string is attached at the back.
Axe with handle made of one piece of wood that has been hafted in a bent splint, reinforced with resin and bound with plant fibre string. Handle tapers toward end; stone axe blade affixed between wood by resin.
Two piece wood frame construction with three wooden crossbars. Pointed heel and toe, with the toe sharply bent, starting at the top cross-bar. Toe piece is open, otherwise hexagonal hide netting covers the spaces between the bars. Centre netting is attached around the frame, over cloth and leather. Diagonal strips cross over and under the horizontal strips in all sections, except adjacent to the toe hole. The section above and below the toe and foot section attach through the holes in the frame, to the outside. A hide strip runs the length of the outside, for these sections. The bent toe section has a hide strip which attaches through the side, on the inside to the bottom of the frame. Hide strips hold the toe and tail ends through holes in the top and the inside of the frame. 'b' has copper wire at the bottom lashing.
