A shovel-shaped, brown wood ladle with a bird head handle. The bird has rounded eyes and a continuous downward pointing triangle at either side of the top middle of the closed beak to create a folded diamond shape over the top.

Stylized design in black, green, and red on one side of a small wood paddle. Has a black oval in red-outline tapering eye surrounded by a thick green-outlined ovoid. A black split u within a larger green u form are at either end. An oblong black shape is along the upper back. There is a black three digit claw. A green semi-oval surrounded by a red u form is at the lower end. In front of the claw, there are two black shapes within a red u form. The tip has a red split u. The handle has a red, green, and black three digit claw at the end. The handle has a horizontal cylindrical finial.

The shaft is carved with dark vertically linear design on a natural background above five of the six cane joints. The end of the shaft is notched and wrapped with a thin strip of cane. The point is plain dark wood.

The shaft is plain except for small dark markings of chevrons at the base, near the pointed end. The base of the shaft is wrapped with thin cane strip. The point is plain wood decorated with a 11 cm. sleeve of red and brown grass. The 21 cm. tip of the point has six irregular barbs, and the tip is wrapped with cane strip.

The base and the end of the shaft are wrapped with thin cane strips. The point is plain wood which is decorated with a 9 cm. sleeve of woven brown and yellow grass. The 16.5 cm. tip of the point is multi-barbed and has a wrapped tip. The shaft has small dark markings near the base and of the shaft.
