Roughly rectangular plaque or slab of whale tooth; yellow-white in colour with one brown end.
Ten whale teeth with holes drilled into them, attached together by a braided, brown coir fibre cord.
Wood staff handle with a tooth mounted cross-wise on top. Tooth is yellowed with age and has a red spot on the top. One end of the tooth is pierced.
Metal spokeshave with a short handle made from a yellow-white sperm whale tooth. Blade curves downwards from the handle into a flat middle section with a beveled edge, then curves back upwards, ending in a rounded notch with a circular hole through its centre (missing handle?).
The figure is a sculpture of a human torso from the shoulders up, is white-yellow in colour, has a well defined face with deep set eyes, a small sloped nose and has a closed mouth that is slightly frowning. Small C-shaped ears are carved on either side of the face, level to the eyes and the figure depicts chin-length hair that is represented by hatching marks on the head. The overall appearance of the figure is female. On the underside of the figure is a small brown hollow opening at the centre.
Twined rope with a whale tooth attached where the ends meet. Tooth is held to rope with some grass through a hole in the tooth and a metal loop around one end of the rope.
