SpindleH1.188 e-g

Spindles (parts e-g) consisting of thin pieces of wood, pointed at each end. All parts have a small, decorative whorl. Part e has a yellow, red and white stripe design on either side of a mushroom shaped whorl. The whorl is black with a white and yellow circular design on top as well as a red circular and white and yellow diamond shape design on the bottom. Part f has a black painted section on either side of a spherical shape whorl detailed with black and red stripes. Part g has dark and light brown cotton thread wrapped around either side of a cylindrical shaped whorl. The whorl is decorated with a green, orange and white stylized human head wearing a headdress.

Stringed Musical InstrumentH1.264

Small, guitar-like instrument with a rounded back covered by a full armadillo pelt (head included). Body is carved from light brown wood, with ten sinew strings laid over a dark brown wooden neck with brass frets and a wooden nut. A peanut-shaped headstock holds ten machine heads--one of which is missing--which protrude from the back.
