Carved mask with three areas of zigzag designs at each temple and upper forehead. Deep eye sockets with protruding eyes, each angled upwards from centre. Under each eye are two drilled holes, with a thin, twisted string threaded through and tied at back. The bulbous forehead has a circlular protuberance at the centre, above two concave brow ridges; linear pattern on each cheek. Vertical lines extend down nose to small circular mouth. Carved, triple-turn infinity design on chin.

Monkey mask, carved and painted. A blue-faced monkey with black hair and reddish-orange mouth and eyebrows. Two large pink ears. The top of the head and nose are black. The monkey has two large eyes with holes in the centre of the pupils, lined with red and yellow. The gums and tongue are red with white teeth.

Puffin Mask3584/1 a-o

Puffin head mask (part a) with multiple attachments (parts b-o). Puffin has a fish clamped in its multi-coloured beak, and four wide holes drilled around the back edge of its head. Eyes are triangular, with long lines extending from their bottom edges to back edge of mask. Circular area around eyes is undecorated; top, bottom and back of head are painted black. Two wood sticks tied in circles (parts b-c) attach to mask with short pegs (parts l-o); cormorant feathers, with wood carvings on tips, extend from outer circle (parts d-k). Carvings on feather ornaments consist of a thin bird head (part d), two fish (parts e-f), two fins (parts g-h), and three wings (parts i-k). Circular rings are painted orange-red; larger one has holes drilled through it for attachments to fit into. All wood attachments have black, dark red-orange, and light blue highlights painted across them; decorative incisions and elements carved in relief throughout. All cormorant feathers are dark grey-black. Metal ring attached to back of mask component, for hanging.

Clown mask. Hand carved mask depicting an off-white clown face with large upturned and pointed nose. Nose painted with a red tip with small bands of brown and teal, and blue nostrils. The clown has wide cutout circular eyes, outlined in blue and red, set deep between prominent brow ridge and cheeks. The large smiling mouth is cutout, and the lips and tongue are painted red, and lips outlined in dark purple. The clown also has a pointed chin, which has a red line across it. The mask has carved hair, which is painted black, with a dark purple widow's peak painted on the forehead.

Thunder Mask3547/1

Thunder mask. Wooden humanoid mask, with bulbous forehead and pronounced brows. Deep-set eyes, with edges carved in relief, are over a large hooked nose, with wide oval-shaped nostrils. Nose extends over open mouth with two rows of bared teeth; rounded chin juts out below mouth. Trigons are carved into cheeks; ovoids done in relief overtop of brows. Forehead and chin are painted black; brows, nose and cheeks are painted dark blue. Ovoids, trigons and nostrils are done in red; teeth are done in silver. Brows, nose and eyes are highlighted with silver. Additional silver decoration painted along bottom corners of mouth, extending down chin. Both dark blue and silver paint have a metallic sheen. Holes drilled into sides and along top edge of mask, for attachments. Back of mask is hollowed out. Holes in mask for eyes, nostrils and mouth.
