Wooden carved and painted beaver(?) mask. Prominent mouth with the lips and two teeth painted red while there is a small hole at either side of the teeth. Chin is painted brown-black. Moth curved section above and on the sides of the mouth. Painted with dark black eyes and eyebrows.

Free-standing pole. From bottom: Raven, Dzunuk'wa, Bak'was, a man holding a frog, a Sea-bear holding a killer whale, and at the top, Thunderbird with a whale on its chest. The bird wings are detachable, held by metal backings on each side. The entire pole is painted.

Shield made from one piece of wood with a slightly raised carved geometric pattern in bands of zig-zags and arc shapes, both formed by squares. The piece of wood is curved overall and a bark fibre handle on the reverse is attached through two holes at the sides of the shield with knots in the front. The shield is stained black on the front.

Shield made from one piece of wood that has a slight curve and is cut into an elongated ovoid shape. The surface has a low relief carved geometric design made up of raised losenge shapes in a scalloped design around the edge and four rounded arms joined by an oval shape, all filled with lozenge shapes. There are two holes at the sides of the shield.

Thin, flat, wooden rectangle painted with bright colours. One end is rounded with a small hole in the centre of the pointed end. Yellow, blue, black and dark red vertical and diagonal lines and geometric shapes are painted on one side. A broken white line goes along the dark red diagonal lines near the rounded end, down the centre and along 2 sides of the rectangle. On the other side there is a dark red background with vertical, diagonal black lines and circles. A quarter of a blue circle is in yellow, outlined in black.

Wolf HeaddressNb11.200

Wolf headdress with bared teeth and carved ears. Cut-out crled horns(?) project at the top, and a series of u-shaped designs project from the back of the head. Carved with great detail but the surface is now rough and weathered. Red and black paint are still visible.

Ornament consisting of a carved wooden peg, beads placed on a metal pin, and two cross-bars of bone to which feathers are fastened with thread. Sequins are sewn to one side of each feather. The wooden beads are black, red, white and green in colour.
