Snuff mortar (part a) and pestle (part b) made of wood. Mortar has a cylinder-like body with an oval-shaped opening and base. It flares out at the bottom; area is marked with an incised line. Tied around the mortar is a long braided cord of plant fibre; used to hold pestle to mortar. The pestle is a thin rod with a natural curve at the base.

Wooden humanoid mask with a small face that tapers at the chin. Mask has a rounded brow with a prominent ridge through the centre; slit-like eyes below brow. An orange-red band is painted across the eyes; circles indented around band and filled in with white pigment. Open mouth protrudes outward, from in between cheeks carved in high relief, with seven silver-coloured teeth embedded along the bottom edge of the top lip. Chin is pointed. Mask has holes for eyes and a hollow interior.

Snuff mortar made of wood with a shallow well. The body is cylindrical in shape. It tapers slightly towards bottom, before flaring out again; base is slightly rounded. Two grooves carved around area that tapers; space between grooves bulges outward. Hole drilled into centre of base.

Small wooden humanoid mask with a plant fibre beard. Mask has a rounded brow with incised eyes underneath. Orange-red pigment, shaped like an oval, decorates the forehead; rest of mask is covered in brown pigment. "V"-shaped pieces of metal are embedded in each cheek; wide nose in between. Open mouth has protruding lips; four silver-coloured teeth embedded along bottom edge of top lip. Cotton headband is attached to top edge of mask; decorated with cowrie shells and a tooth. Mask has a flat back; small loop attached to top.

Carved wooden face mask with a large nose protruding out from the centre. Painted mainly in black and blue, with large red nostrils and a pattern of red dashes at both upper sides. Round open eyes and an open slit at the mouth. Chin unpainted. Braided cedar bark rope attached all around the edges; the braid meets at the top and is bound by a cotton twine. Half of the bark has been dyed red. Above the bound area the cedar bark sticks out over the forehead, as a loose bundle. Inside unpainted. Artist initials carved into wood (T inside the A). Long knife (part a), whittling knife (part b) and scabbard (part c). Long knife has a deer horn hilt carved into the profile of a bird’s head. Hourglass-like designs and curvilinear motifs incised throughout. Protruding from the top of the bird’s head and the beak are sections of short black and red hair. Hole drilled through pronounced nostrils, for hanging or attachment purposes. Hilt grip covered with woven band of rattan. The blade is convex on one side, slightly concave on the other, and widens from the hilt. Tip is angled. The whittling knife has a small curved blade attached to a long, slightly curved handle. Blade end of hilt decorated with a wide band of braided metal. Blades of both knifes are secured to hilts with resin. The scabbard is composed of a wood sheath for the long knife and a bark sheath for the whittling knife. Wood sheath made of two pieces of wood bound together with rattan. Ties alternate between single dyed strands and thick decorative bands. Bands, woven with naturally coloured and dyed strands, consist of “X”-shaped designs, concentric circles and knots. Wood is painted dark red and has incised motifs, matching designs on long knife hilt, throughout. Bark sheath is undecorated and secured to wood sheath with plain rattan ties. Braided rattan carrying cord, with looped end, threaded through bark sheath.

Thumb piano consisting of eleven metal prongs attached to a wooden base with a metal bar, secured with four hooks, and supported by a strip of metal sheeting. The prongs are flat at the tip and then curve upward at their ends, with balls of resin(?) attached underneath. The top and sides of the base have raised walls; the top wall is straight, sides curve inwards. The bottom flares outward and has a rounded edge. There are incised and burnt triangle designs on the sides and bottom of the base.

Model kayak made of skin, stretched over an internal wooden structure (part a). Strip of antler(?), secured with wooden pegs, lines front keel. Ends of kayak are capped with oval-shaped pieces of ivory(?). Two sinew rigging lines in front of the high-walled cockpit, and one behind. Two ivory fasteners attached to each line. A double-bladed paddle (part b), spear (part c), harpoon (part d), harpoon line rest (part e), and two tools (parts f and g) are separate. The paddle, spear, harpoon and harpoon line rest are made of wood with antler blades (parts c and d) and reinforcement components (parts b, c and e). The two tools are made of antler. The largest (part f) is flat with a straight handle and a curved tapering end. The smallest tool (part g) has a rectangular handle, with triangular indentations along the bottom edge, and a thin pointed tip.

Seven-stringed lyre with a wooden sound chamber covered in leather skin; skin secured with nails. Triangular wood frame extends from top of sound chamber, made up of two vertical rods inserted through the leather and connected at the top by a third horizontal rod. Third rod has raised decorations on the sides and a cone-shaped protrusion on the left edge. Seven bands of braided plant fibre are tied across the horizontal rod. Oval-shaped hole towards bottom of skin cover; seven strings inserted through it and are wound around horizontal rod, overtop the braided bands. Strings are stretched over a small rectangular soundboard, adhered to centre of leather cover. Two-tiered circular decoration on back centre of sound chamber. All components of lyre are darkened to dark brown; strings are black.
