Hand puppet of José (Joseph). Head, arms and legs are carved from wood and painted. The hands are disproportionately large. He has black eyes lined with large lashes underneath, a thick black synthetic(?) moustache, and thin black eyebrows. He wears a small woven sombrero. His fabric outfit is light brownish-pink and painted with burgundy designs outlined in red and decorated with white and navy dots. He wears a blue velvet cape, edged with gold trim, taupe with green lace and bands of reflective material. The fabric is nailed to the hands and head. Operated by inserting a hand inside the body of the puppet to control its head, arms and movements.

The small red woodpecker is decorated with yellow dots, and white and green feathers, and two artificial flowers, one nailed to the lower back, and the other to the crown of the head. Operated by two strings and a leather strap. Joint at the neck.

Wooden box (caja para títeres), painted, to hold hand puppets. Box is cube-shaped, with a shallow hinged lid with handle aligned front to back. There is a small hook and eye latch to secure the box. Each side of the box is painted with a scene within a teal frame. The left side depicts a flying pole dance with four men suspended from a pole and "voladores" written below. The back side shows three men standing in a row in traditional outfits with "tocotines" written below. The right side shows four men swinging from a pole, and the front depicts two people standing side by side holding streamers(?). The lid is decorated with a scene of a flowering cactus, a church, and caged birds under the red sun. Each scene is bordered by a red dot at each cardinal point, and olive green filigree in each corner.

The left side has written, 'Tejon' and depicts a coati standing between some flowers and trees underneath the moon. The back depicts a blonde person by a house(?) with smoke from the chimney. The right side says 'maringuilla', and depicts four people dancing(?) in a row. The lid depicts two people standing side by side.

Her hair is composed of feathers - deep vibrant blue and light blue. On her feet she wears black sandals. Her fabric outfit is green and painted. The fabric is nailed to the hands and head. A small strap extends down inside the head. Operated by inserting a hand inside the body of the puppet to control its head, arms and movements.

The left side has written, 'Mexcal Pue. Tejonen Titirite-ros'. The back depicts a church, a cactus, large tree, and coati(?) under a large red sun. The right side depicts voladores or flying pole dance with four men suspended from a pole. The lid depicts two people dancing(?) in a row.

Large circular wood panel with a cast paper spindle whorl design. Centre of wood panel is concave, with a spindle at centre to mount the paper cast. Black paper cast depicting a wolf design. The negative areas are darker and spotted compared to the postive areas of the cast. The rim of the panel is painted black. Cast marked 1/5.

Paddle carved from a single piece of wood. The burgundy shaft is split above the throat, forming a V-shape. The grip is painted solid black, and has a small piece of black leather tied to both sides of the shaft. The blade is painted light yellow-brown with black feather-like lines over, and the outline of an eagle's profile with white eye.
