Wooden rattle formed of two pieces of wood held together by coiled fishing wire at handle and two loops through holes in the sides of the head. Handle is undecorated and flares toward the end; head has four painted eye areas.

One of the sides created by the fringe has black designs of a central double headed sea serpent, or Sisiutl, with a copper above its head and geometric shapes below it. The other side is a large face of a Sisiutl in red and black. The background of both images is white.

On either side face are long rectangular pieces carved in relief and decorated with lightly carved zigzag designs.
