Brightly painted, large, portable "retablo" box altar. Two doors on leather hinges and painted on both sides in red, yellow,and black, open with red and white striped ribbons, from the centre outwards, to show two levels of small painted plaster figures and animals arranged into two scenes. On the top is a Nativity scene with the Three Kings and numerous shepherds while, on the bottom, is a scene of celebration with male and female musicians, acrobats, dancers, animals and food on a table. The exterior of the box is painted with red square and dot filled diamond shapes against a white background.

Toy jaguar-like cat, standing on all fours, made of several pieces of carved light yellow wood nailed together. Lines of black spots/dashes cover the body, tail and legs. Black wavy lines indicate a thick mane, and the black painted facial features are on an orange background.

Light coloured wood llama is nailed onto a base with wheels attached. Roughly carved figure stands on two pronged legs. Facial features, tail and saddle on the body, the chevrons on the base and the spokes on the wheels are all painted on in orange, yellow, brown, green and black.

Painted wood statuette of Dr. Jose Gregorio Henandez, also known as Brother Gregario, the healer. Three-piece black-suited figure wearing a white shirt, green tie, and black brimmed hat stands on a green base, with his hands behind his back. Finely detailed facial features include shiny brown eyes (plastic?), wavy brown hair and a black mustache.

Lion puppet. Small, painted brown wood lion with brown wool mane and a rope tail has moveable jointed head and legs and is attached with strings to a wood stick. Facial features are painted on in yellow, white, black and dark brown.

Small model of a carpentry shop on a wood base. The back wall has a coating of white gesso against which lean a carpenter's work bench and several pieces of wood. Numerous tools are on top of the bench, glued to the back of the bench and hanging on the wall.

Toy dog with moving mouth and tail. Square carved dog with black leather ears and tail, black painted spots, eyes, nose, white teeth and red tongue stands on a mount beneath which are a series of wheels. When a handle on one side is turned, the wheels rotate, causing the mouth to move up and down and the tail to swivel.

Wooden toy with two oxen harnessed to a small orange cart with two large red and black wheels and high, fence-like sides. Inside the cart are carved figurines of a pig, a sheep and a peasant with long staff in his right hand.

Framed behind gilded pillars are small painted plaster figures and animals which are staggered in rows rising in height towards the larger figures of Joseph and Mary. The exterior of the box and the interior of the doors are painted with floral motifs in red, green, blue, purple, yellow, and black on a white background.

One of a pair of dark brown, panel-like carved wooden posts painted dark brown. Depicted are male figures riding horses, figures standing guard, an elephant and other animals, and a finial that points downwards at the bottom. There is a carved border along the top, back and bottom. The carving tapers towards the base. It is housed in painted plywood supports.
