Bee mask. Rounded forehead has split U forms, yellow with black splits at sides, partially covered by cedar bark, vertical series at centre has black and red- brown with white and a solid black U; curved thick black brows with ends curling towards side rims; white temples with black and red U forms; small orbital area, base of protruding circular hollow eyes and base of snout between eyes are yellow; black and white bands around top of eyes; bulbous protruding snout has black triangular design at top and bottom joined by a narrow band, cluster of five drilled holes, four with remains of 'stingers'; white, yellow and red crescentic bands around hollow circular nostrils; defining line on cheek melds with orbital ridge; white cheeks have crescentic black line varying in thickness; series of twelve U forms along mouth ridge, white and yellow lines around red lip band, rounded upper lip and pointed lower lip; yellow triangular upturned chin. Cut cedar bark, tied with white cord and folded around a folded piece of orange-pink cloth that is nailed to the upper rim; brown cord is loosely twined into cedar bark 2/3 from top rim. On reverse, a single green cord is passed through two holes at upper rim, looped and knotted through a hole at each temple; white cord binds green cord at upper rim; hole in bottom centre of chin.

Noble Woman with Labret2635/1

Female face carved from poplar wood. Red paint on lips and around nostrils; black eyebrows and pupils. Protruding bottom lip has oval-shaped unpainted section across top. Mouth is open, revealing a full mouth of individually carved square teeth. Human hair emerges from scalp in tufts. A long rectangular strip of rabbit fur hangs on other side of the face. Leather thong for hanging. Artist signature on inside.

Large, carved, wooden, raven hamatsa mask with a long beak and an ovoid shaped ridge for a nose. The beak is hinged with pieces of rubber nailed to either side. The beak is painted black with a red mouth and circular cutout nostrils. At the back of the mouth are two s-shapes. Around the nose is a red ovoid and U-forms. The eyes are white, outlined in black on a white, ovoid shaped background; brow is black. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of twine used to open and close the beak along with a fibre head ring. The top, side and bottom edges of the mask are lined with braided cedar. The top has short pieces of cedar creating a fringe, while the back has longer strips that hang over the wearer. The underside of the mouth is painted black with a small white design. The mask is painted black, red, and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.

Long, circular wooden stick painted blue, orange and white. A white star is incised on the tip of the bulbous end. The orange and blue meet in a white incised zigzag design. At the narrow end of the stick the blue paint has flaked off, and the natural wood shows.
