Carved from single piece of wood. Crutch handle has adze marks. Flat shaft rounded at grip, narrows, then widens to form a lanceolate blade. Central ridge runs from the grip to the point. Both sides have black and red two-dimensional painted design. Black band is on the handle. Killer whale is on the heavily varnished side. Reverse side has split u design and is lightly varnished.

Both sides are painted in black and red two-dimensional design of u's, split u's, and an ovoid. Black band is on the handle and the blade tip. One side is heavily varnished while the other side is light.
