Carved paddle-shaped object with the upper half being that of a woman's body. The head has an elaborate yellow and black headdress. Raised features have painted eyebrows. Almond-shaped eyes with painted lids and pupils, flared nostrils, red painted lips, and large earrings. The yellow dress has short sleeves with raised and pointed shoulders and a carved bodice. The plain skirt is the handle. Hands are in a prayer position. Black printing on the back reads 'The goddess Malay 19C' a white sticker on the front reads '3m'.

Large carved figure. Erect zoomorphic figure, legs flared, hands on chest, fingers extended toward chin. Monkey face, open mouth, tongue slightly protruding between teeth. Large protruding circular ears, small nose. Toes splayed, toes and fingers elongated, narrow. Stomach rounded, upper arms and thighs heavy. Figure stands on base. All over black stain except for teeth and tongue. Crack between feet extending through 2/3 of base. Nose chipped and gouged areas over most of carving. Indications that teeth may have been white, tongue pink.

An all black Janus headdress; one of the heads has a multi-peg headdress, clean-shaven, open mouth revealing filed teeth, protruding lips, ears, eyes, short nose, and a vertical ridge high on the forehead. Second head has matted hair, beard, and other features similar to first. Both heads supported by a common neck merging into a round base. Skin covering wrinkled and broken in several places, revealing wood. Base hollow, interior painted black.

Model totem pole with four figures, all mounted on a rectangular wooden base. Figures from bottom up: wolf, human holding fish-like animal, bird. Bottom figure is torso only, with head of wolf; large teeth, long snout, erect ears. Clothed human figure with facial paint on cheeks and painted moustache; has deep prismatic face with pronounced brow ridge; man's feet rest on wolf's head, almost forming ears; fish in his hands extends down to feet. Bird figure above has folded wings and ears. Back of pole is flat. Fragment of newspaper clipping about totem poles is glued on reverse.

Standing figure with splayed legs and bent knees. Block-shaped feet, and prominent square-like head. Black-painted arm sockets appear as protruding sections, as if arms behind back. Face and body painted in black, white, and grey-blue. Face has white spotted sections on cheeks and jaw, and line of black dots under eyes. White and grey-blue paint on middle of chest and around belly, top of legs, and around ankles. Small black circle at centre of breast. Protruding brow, open mouth turned down at corners, recessed eye area, one ear on the right side.

Double edged straight steel sword (a) with sharp triangular point and cast copper alloy decorations at hilt and end; handle is wood carved in straight longitudinal lines. 8 Chinese characters on one side of sword and 4 on the other. Scabbard (b) is green and black mottled lacquered wood with cast metal decorations at both ends, and 3 raised bands along body. All metal shows central symbol surrounded by floral design, rounded and/or scalloped at edges. Metal is patinated, black with green spots at hilt. Lacquer is worn, and chipped. Sword coated from both edges in dried brown liquid; rust at hilt.

Male figure (part a), with head (part b) and pointed rod (part c) with circular metal disk around centre: face painted yellow, yellow ears, red lips, four gold teeth exposed. Gold eyeballs with black pupils looking upwards, black eyebrows each forming long arches. Black caste mark, black beauty mark on right above corner of mouth. Top of head is flat; wears gold crown, headdress of green, red, black, gold, and yellow rises up at the back to an open-mouthed creature with gold lolling tongue: has jagged teeth. Green hair shows beneath headdress. Long brown and black batik skirt, open at the back; black long-sleeved jacket, decorated front, tattered green and pink braid attached to each sleeve. Multicoloured shoulder ornaments (epaulettes), woven Mandarin-style collar. Wide blue band around waist; black, white, blue, and gold plastic belt. Smaller pink belt underneath. Gold painted hands.

Three-dimensional female humanoid puppet: head (part c) fits into body with skirt (part a), and a control rod (part d) with a long shaft passes through the body and fits into the neck of the figure's head. The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached. The figure's right arm is broken at the hand where the control rod attaches (part b). The figure has a flower motif on each breast underneath a black fabric bib decorated with gold-coloured beads and coloured sequins. The bib has a shiny bright green mandarin-style collar decorated with braid and silver sequins. Forward-bending white face and neck, small straight nose, slit-shaped eyes, red lower lip, red caste mark, beaumark on right above corner of mouth, ears. Top of head is flat, straight black hair. Gold body and arms; crown of gold, green and red. Multicoloured band around waist, attached to body with blue tack on front, red and blue tacks on back. Long batik skirt, in beige, light brown and grey-blue.

The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached. The figure's face is dark red with black and white spots. Mouth open exposing one tooth at front of mouth; long upper lip. Nose, eyes small; black pupils. Head painted dark red; lump at back of head. Dark multi-coloured fabric skull cap on head. Arms long and dangling; hands large, and positioned at right angles to wrists. Close-fitting jacket with a rust-coloured, knit torso, a high collar, and short sleeves of patterned cotton. Beige belt around waist. Plaid skirt in grey and brown with purple and off-white stripes.

Three-dimensional male humanoid puppet: large head (part b) fits into body with skirt (part a), and a control rod (part c) with a long shaft passes through the body and fits into the neck of the figure's head. The body has jointed arms (long controlling rod missing from each). Figure has a pink face with a topong mahkota, surmounted by a jamang, badong, and sumping with points from a winged ridge. Large eyes with red irises; large nose, slightly blunt; black moustache and sideburns, gelung supit urang. Mouth open with prominent teeth. Body, moveable arms with bracelets at wrists and upper arms, black vest covering torso, leaving shoulders exposed, and black apron at waist with blue waistband. The vest, apron and waistband are decorated with beading and sequins. Hands at right angles to wrists. Skirt with geometric pattern in green and beige with large birds, flowers, and leaves in dark blue, red, yellow, and brown. Two long blue strips of fabric extend down from waist at either side.
