Totem PoleA8212

Totem pole carved from cedar wood. The bottom of the pole has a human holding a child, followed by a bird figure, and topped with a human, falling from the sky. All of the figures have a black circle in tapering oval eyes with either red or black brows above and a red mouth. The bird has three-feathered wings with circles, ovoids, and split u's. The ears of the humans at the bottom each have a frontal face in them. The feet of the upside down human at the top are bent toward the front of the pole.

Carved wood paddle with a diamond-shaped blade. The blade and the lower shaft are painted red while the upper shaft is painted black. Handle grip mortised and nailed onto the shaft and painted red. Black painted panel on the blade contains designs of a raccoon in grey and a curved shape in orange. These designs appear on both sides of the blade.
