Large carved bear mask, with human-like eyes, nose and mouth. The face is mostly black with green nostril and ovoids that outline the black eyes; brow is black. The mouth has carved teeth; the mouth is painted black with green ovoids repeated along the upper lip. The ears are attached to the top of the head and are decorated with black U-forms. The inside of the mask is hollow. The mask is painted black and green with stylized designs.

Dance KnifeA3800

Warrior dance knife, or baton in the form of Sisiutl. A long thin cylindrical-like shaped wood piece with a central frontal head and a profile head on either side. Cedar bark is tied around one side. Painted with long upward curving protruding red tongues at either side and four horizontal black rings around each neck.

Club with long handle and end in the shape of the head of a Sisiutl. Tongue of Sisiutl protrudes from mouth. Top curl on head. Painted detail in the colours red, green, and black. Light grey-brown fibre cording is wrapped and knotted half way up the handle.

Wooden figure consisting of a duntsik or power board used in winter dances. The design is cutout with Northwest Coast stylized form and outlined in black and white paint. The image represented is a thunderbird with cutout wings and beak, painted claws and its ears protruding from the top. The board has numerous rectangular pieces silver coloured foil adhered to the surface.

Mask or headdress representing a whale with moveable dorsal fin, tail fin, and pectoral fins, a large flat mouth with a movable lower jaw, and cylindrical nostrils. The mask is painted black with concentric circles and ovals on the sides and head in white and red. The face is painted with black eyebrows,bordered in red and white, green around the eyes, black with an abstract white design on the cheeks, red and black designs above the white and red nostrils, black above the upper lip, and red lips. The fins are painted with designs in black, red, and white. Original tail flukes have been replaced by plain wooden carved pieces with painted and sewn cardboard cut-outs attached above.

Wooden model canoe. The bow and stern of the canoe become thinner and curve upwards slightly. The stern is thicker than the bow. The sides of the canoe are decorated with four figures painted in red, green and black. The interior of the canoe is undecorated.

Mask painted white with heavy black eyebrows, black around the eyes with a gill-like design in black over the cheeks, red nostrils and lips, a black moustache, red accentuating the cheeks and sides of the mouth, and a black chin. Two rectangular ears protrude at the sides and are painted red and white separated by a black line. There are also two black oval marks on the mask's right ear and four black oval marks on the mask's left ear. Cord attached at back with a piece of off-white fabric knotted around it.

Wooden, bear mask, carved and painted. The muzzle is hinged – with a piece of string on one side and skin on the other – to a lower jaw. The ties allow the jaw to open and close. Wooden ears are attached to the top, one is painted black, the other is unpainted and is a later addition. The mask is painted black, red, green and white with Northwest coast designs. The black paint covers an older red.
