The monk sits with his right leg lying on the floor bent at the knee toward his left knee that is folded up and over. He is holding prayer beads with his left hand. He is dressed in a long robe and trousers. Four characters carved are in relief across the top. The background is light brown wood. The frame is dark brown. A dark maroon-red ribbon-like string is tied through metal rings at the top.
