Six polished flat bone teeth inset in a thick wood handle which is roughly triangular in shape and tapers toward the butt end where it terminates in a knob with a large v-shaped notch cut out that is also drilled with a hole. Deep depressions on the sides of the handle are decorated with incised diagonal crosses.

Roughly circular in shape with small human head projecting from top above a face with wide mouth and rectangular teeth; downturned tip of nose attached to chin. Eyes inlaid with metal discs. Flat rim projects around circumference of mask and is inlaid with abalone pieces in various shapes, primarily rectangular. Two holes bored in rim below chin and two above forehead.

Mask of a human face. Dark red/yellow-brown face has circular cut out hole eyes surrounded by a tapering and an area around the eyes that is recessed in suggestion of an ovoid shape with black brows above. The nostrils are cut out as is the thinly parted, slightly downturned mouth. The chin is pointed. Around the eyes and the cheeks, there is a black-painted delicate design consisting of a pair of u forms that have diagonal lines within. Remains of red paint in some areas. Leather thongs are attached with nails to the sides and the top of the mask at the rear.

Fragment: Totem PoleA2546

Rectangular wooden pole fragment. Carved in the bottom is a bear head with large ovoid eyes, a slightly protruding snout, teeth, a protruding tongue and pointed ears. Within its ear is a small human figure. Upon the animal’s head stands a human figure with an arm extended down to the figure in the ear. Pole is unpainted.

Wood paddle with a marquise-shaped blade with the widest point near the tip and narrowing to the shaft which is round in cross section. Butt is flared and rectangular in cross section with an indentation cut near the end. Handle is cut in the shape of a transverse cylinder, one end of which is broken off. Design is of a fish (?) painted on blade in green and black on one side and in turquoise and white on the other side.

Wood paddle with an elongated marquise-shaped blade, widening to a butt which has a flat handle. Design painted in black and red on the blade with two pairs of semi-cricles at either side with a vertical row of red dots in between and a black split u at the tip of the blade. Hole drilled near the butt of the paddle.

Human face mask. The orange-brown face has circular cut out hole eyes outlined by black and surrounded by a plain tapering oval with triangular, black brows above. The cut out nostrils are red as are the lips. Chin area is black. Sixteen nail heads in forehead. Attached, there are two screw eyes with a piece of cord threaded through them.

Human face mask. The green-brown face has circular cut out hole eyes outlined by black and surrounded by a plain tapering oval and surrounded by a deep red area with black dashed brows above. The nostrils are deep red as is the open grimaced mouth showing eight plain teeth. Has a black moustache and goatee. Along the prominent cheekbones, there is a curving deep red u form that has black dashes within. Very smooth surface finish. A pair of holes is at either side through the ears and one at the top middle.

Storage BasketNbz777 a-b

Rectangular coiled cedar root basket (part a) with rounded corners and a lid (part b). Slat foundation used for both the lid and the base, but bundles of cedar roots were used for the sides. Lid (part b) fitted flush to slightly flared sides from which single handle is attached, one end to each long side. Handle is composed of bundles reinforced with cotton cord. Sides of the basket (part a) are decorated with imbricated panels of light yellow brown grass with alternating red brown and black dyed cherry bark in four "V" motifs. Panels are outlined in black, two each on longest sides and one on each end. Sturdy rim around base edge elevates basket. Beading in red and black cherry bark on the lid (part b) top and sides with grass at the lid's rim.
