Short wooden paddle with a cylindrical, horizontal handle and a leaf-shaped blade. Thunderbird, canoe and abstract design painted on one side, with "winged" canoe on the other; painted in black, green, and red. Signed "Frederick Alexcee."

Pitch covered water jar undecorated. It has three handles on the sides. Twined elements of willow covered with a thick layer of pitch. Base has a piece of cotton glued on. One rawhide thong remains for carrying. Diagonal twined work (over two warp strands) covered with pitch to made it water proof.

Variation of "sun symbol" design, black on natural with two coiled rows of black on base and black braided border. Splint(?) foundation of grass with coiled elements of cottonwood or willow. Black elements are martynia.

The details are emphasized through use of block engraving. The second animal figure sits on top of the first. It has a prominent forehead, round eyes and a protruding snout filled with triangle teeth. The figure is holding his arms up to his chin, his feet in front.
