Small lime spatula with a carved handle. The handle is rectangular in shape with a slight taper in the middle, topped with a carved bird. A raised T-shaped area, with U-shaped markings, runs down the centre, ending at a small carved circle. The rest of the handle is carved with swirl designs. The carving continues down into the spatula end in a zigzag pattern. All of the carved areas are filled with white lime. The spatula end is an elongated tear-drop shape.

The upper end is covered with a black substance and inlaid with mother-of-pearl triangles, the lower part constitutes the prongs. The comb is attached to a long thin handle, which has a small piece of twine attached to it.
A wide, flat comb made from black pointed sticks. The parts are tied together and secured by a fine patterned weave of yellow and red plant fibre. Some areas are covered with a reddish clay or pigment. The comb has 27 pointed prongs.
