The head of the owl has backwards pointing, triangular-shaped ears and two large circular eyes with smaller engraved circles inside of them. Owl has a rounded body and two legs with three claws at end of each foot. Wing feathers are delineated. The object is painted with a dark stain.

One smaller arrow-shaped brown wood piece that has a shorter handle is tied to a light brown wood seat near one end. There is one brown wood paddle with a condensed lance-olate leaf-shaped blade (part b).
