Circular basket (part a) woven of braided sweet grass (3 strand), executed in wicker style over split wood. Basket has a flat lid (part b) with a loop on one edge that is tied to another loop with string (originally attached to the basket). Interior of basket is padded with a white-grey woolen material and lined with shiny pink cloth.

Rattle made from a cylindrical section of white horn; rattle has a wooden handle that runs through its centre and is plugged at both ends with circular wooden pieces to which the horn is nailed.

The main design along the handle is woven with a brown chevron pattern on a red-brown background in between radial bands of dark brown wood along the lower portion and with natural-coloured zig zag pattern on a dark brown background along the upper portion. Twenty-seven long teeth fan outward radially. The teeth are secured by a natural-coloured weave between each tooth.
