Wooden sheath with a leather cover that has almost worn off. Long leather shoulder strap is attached. Gently curving blade, metal hilt and handle with a round flat end.

PipeB2 a-b

Pipe shaft (a) and a bowl (b) that fits into the top of the pipe shaft. made from a length of bamboo grass with bands of arabesque pattern stained (?) black. The bowl is stained dark brown and has a flat, circular mouth, carved around the rim, with a cylindrical shaft and notched base. The base of the pipe shaft is pierced with several holes, has u-shaped indents cut out of the edge and is incised with a linear design that follows the edge.

Basket that has four rounded sides with a vertical red-brown supporting stick at each of the four corners also bound to the circular red-brown rim that has three sets of interconnected coils around each side. Geometric patterns in diagonal bands of red and black on a natural background. The inside is plain.

BasketB95

The basket has a circular opening at the top, becomes square through weaving and rests upon a circular wood base. Two sticks are crossed and lashed between the circular base and the basket. Each end of the stick is bent up the corners of the basket, lashed to the weaving and secured beneath a band at the top. There are two loops on two of the sticks. A length of bark threaded between the basket and the circular base and each end knotted to a loop creating straps. The basket has a diamond pattern woven in light and dark rattan. Underneath the rim there is a red band.
