The back warrior has an orange armour with a wild cat fur tail, and one arm extending around above the head. The forward warrior has a purple armour with both hands in front of him. The other side has a painting of a hawk and a pine on the back with red and white blossoms.

Center circular panel of bowl has three cranes in water an flowers. Smaller panels on the side are lobed and have human figures and landscape designs. Floral and arabesque designs decorated the whole of the bowl. All in polychrome on a green ground. Wooden stand.

KnifeN2.823

Long wooden knife that tapers to a sharp pointed end. A rice plant and a duck in flight are designs that have been carved on the shaft of the knife. A long silk tassel and netsuke are attached at the end. The tassel attaches to the knife through a hole at the end and wraps around the handle of the knife along with a piece of olive green silk fabric.

Folding paper hand fan with black lacquered ribs. One side of the fan is painted with floral designs in reds, purples, greens on either side of two women dressed in kimonos accompanied by a small boy; the back is decorated with flowers. Black lacquered ribs have been painted with silver designs. A pink tassel hangs from the bottom of the fan's handle.
