The woven headband is narrow with a long fringe at both ends. The central section of the band repeats double headed serpents twelve times in gold, green and two shades of red. The band narrows to sections of oblique twining and weft faced plain weave on grouped warps at both ends. The warps then become long fringes. Z-spun, two plied s yarns.
A fragmentary tubular band with yellow meandering serpent design against a background of brown and green; looped over a core of red, white and blue threads; made up of two sections sewn together. One outside end is complete, the other is incomplete. Z-spun, 2 ply s yarns; core yarns are spun z, 2 ply s and 4 ply z. Blue yarn used in modern mend.
A narrow band in red, and two shades of yellow with a large pendant tassel. A frontal human with a large head and raised hands is repeated five times. The figures are yellow and/or dark yellow against a red background. One end is fragmentary. The main band is worked in overhand knotting. The tassel is wrapped and a stylized feline is needle-woven into the wrapped area. Z-spun, two plied s yarns; tassel yarns z-spun, two ply s, reply z.
Green variegated stone owl with prominent chest, concave circular eyes, on oblong wooden base. Felt and ink lines on bottom of base.
A black woven wool flat disc-shaped hat. Embroidery covers the top. Yellow lines the brim and pink lines the inner form. Unbleached cotton lines the centre area. Circles of pink, green, red, and yellow wool and white string are tacked onto top to make plant-like designs. Wear on tie strings.
A shallow disk-shaped wool covered basketry hat. Black on top while the underside is yellow and light red-pink. Black area is divided into four sections by a white cord and stitched on. Cords end in geometric patterns consisting of red, blue, green, yellow, brown, purple, and orange fabric circles and metallic fabrics stitched in a pattern of two star shapes stitched in each section. Underside plain with ties sewn together at chin, and having green and light purple with stitching.
Poncho made of warp faced stripes hand-woven in vertical bands of natural beige and brown cameloid yarns, which are highly twisted, with four bands of green at each side. The edges and neck are finished with a strip of woven fabric that has two bands of green.
Man’s vest made of tightly woven, fulled dark brown yak wool, decorated with multicoloured embroidery. The edges of the front opening, armholes and bottom are trimmed in the zigzag pattern made of appliquéd red cotton textile, outlined in yellow stitching. Embroidery patterns on the front and shoulders include scattered floral, tree of life and border motifs, while the back is solidly embroidered with several styles of stitchery and several kinds of motifs, including open work. The back edge of the neckline forms a V which is partially filled with a gusset made of embroidered cotton textile, and trimmed with small tassels. There are two layers of twisted wool fibre fringe (one short – 6.5 cm – and one long – 19 cm) at the bottom of the back of the vest.
Poncho, warp patterned with a design of multi-coloured potato flowers and roses arranged in band on a red background with pairs of thin white stripes in between each band. A single pattern break and one edge bound suggests that the cloth was woven in one strip, cut in half and sewn together on the long axis.
Head cloth formed by three differently sized pieces of black fine twill wool fabric sewn together with blue thread and embroidered with a multicoloured geometric and floral motif border. A narrow red cotton band embroidered with a series of white circles covers the edges.
