Band3486/79

Woven band (jakima) finished on one end with three braids. Geometric shapes in alternating hot pink and blue form the main design of the band, with a section of parallelograms in a wactapunacac (rib-to-rib) ch’uro (snail) motif on one half, and a section of triangles arranged in a puntas (points) motif on the other half. The design is surrounded with a thin line of lilac and a thick green border along the top and bottom edges.

Belt3486/108

Woven belt (chumpi) finished on one end in braids sewn together to form a loop. The design of the belt has a repeating geometric motif called ‘loraypu’ in red against a black background featuring diamonds and triangles decorated with hooked shapes. The border along the top and bottom edges consists of three thins horizontal stripes in pale yellow, black, and red.

Belt3486/106

Woven belt (chumpi) in wool and camelid fibre, finished at one end with loop-manipulated braids sewn together. The design of the belt is split into two wide horizontal bands, separated by a thinner band with alternating dark red and dark green rectangles decorated with light yellow ‘x’ shapes and diamonds. The two thick bands have a brownish black background with three horizontal stripes in bright pink, lavender, and orange across the centre. The thick bands feature off-white patterns and geometric motifs including diamonds, triangles, ‘x’ shapes, circles, swirls, and figures including humans, quadrupeds, and various birds. The top and bottom edges have a border with a row of dark red and dark green triangles, a row of alternating light grey diamonds and off-white ‘x’ shapes, and a thin stripe of dark blue along the very edge.

Band (watana) with fringe ends and beaded edging. Red, dark blue, and off-white yarn are woven together to form the design with diamonds, hearts, triangles, and other geometric motifs separated by small vertical lines. A border of mustard yellow, red, and dark blue extend across the top and bottom edges of the band, with small round transparent green beads spanning the majority of the border.

A border of mustard yellow and deep blue with small round white opaque beads surround the diamond pattern. Band (watana) woven from handspun naturally dyed yarn. A geometric pattern of alternating greyish-blue and rust coloured triangles, separated by an off-white zigzag are at the centre of the motif. The band has a border in deep brownish-red and olive green along the top and bottom edges, an unfinished end, and a braided fringe on the other end. .
