Woven belt with multi-coloured design. Belt is folded in half length-wise with a solid black line down the centre. On each side there is a repeating pattern of orange and beige, and then black and beige with brown throughout. Twisted fringe at the ends.

Head Ring3259/51

Head ring made of mountain goat wool and cedar bark. Thick strands of wool are wound around a bark core, with four bunches of shredded cedar bark attached around the ring. A small wooden stake made of cedar hangs from a brown string. Two brown pieces of fabric are tied around the wool. Small sections of wool have been coloured pinkish-red and black.

Head ring made of mountain goat wool and cedar bark. Thick strands of wool are wound around a bark core, with six bunches of shredded cedar bark attached around the ring. There are two loosely and one tightly tied sections of fabric. Small sections of the wool have been coloured pinkish-red and orange-red.

Fragment: Blanket3259/48

Blanket fragment. The textile is woven of thick wool, with lines of fabric plaited vertically- two lines of dark brown on each end and two of magenta at centre. Tassels hang from one of the narrow ends, while the adjacent edge has been cut, causing the weaving to loosen and fray over time. Cuts to the centre strands have partially cleaved the textile in two.

Basket3259/45

Open-weave basket with a tumpline fibre strap attached. The basket is rectangular, with a slightly rounded base, walls flaring gently outward toward a thick, wrapped rim. Short cords are attached at each corner to hold the tumpline strap, or handle, which is a braid of many thin cotton strands. At the centre of the wool strap, strips of cotton fabric in green, pink and other colours are tightly woven in, to create padding.

Net Shuttle3259/37

Net shuttle with fibre. Flat piece of wood with rounded point on leading end. Wide semi-circular notch at the other end with two prongs. Long hole cut out of the interior except for a single spike left protruding with fibre wound around it. Grass(?) is wound through the fibre.

Pouch3260/124 a-c

Rectangular felt pouch (part a). Red stitching covers the outer edges of the pouch flap and body. On the back is embroidered a red hummingbird design with an abalone button for the eye. An abalone button is also used at the front for closing. Inside the pouch is a white woven bag (part b) with a red fabric underlay (part c).

Inland style hide sheath covered with red cloth. Beadwork on front and along the edge of sheath. Main beadwork design consists of light blue, pink and yellow flowers, along with green and brown leaves. Black cloth covers the back. Red cloth handle edged with brownish cloth; blue striped cloth on back.
