Bee mask. Slightly rounded white forehead has black U in upper centre, black triangular-like form with red ovoid outlined in white at lower centre; curvilinear dark purple-red and red lines above curved black brows; yellow orbital areas are joined by a thin line in dip between forehead and bulbous protruding snout; circular hollow protruding white eyes outlined in black; snout has black centre and outline, yellow and white crescentic bands around red hollow nostrils, five holes in snout, three in the centre and one above each nostril, four have the remains of 'stingers'; curvilinear black lines emphasize cheek contours and narrow flat upturned chin; white and dark purple-red bands also emphasize chin. Cut cedar bark, tied with white cord, and nailed to upper rim; cedar bark lengths are folded around an orange-pink folded cloth nailed to the upper rim; white string and red cloth are twined through the cedar bark lengths; dark purple-red cloth is nailed to upper rim beneath cedar bark, two seams with greyish material on either side. On reverse, string passed through two holes in upper rim, looped and knotted through a hole in each temple, black string is knotted to string from temples and to a piece of thick black rubber.
Forehead mask of a woman, whose head is a rattle, sits on the forehead of an eagle; hair, black wire wrapped around ends, is inserted into eleven drilled holes on top of the woman's head; black and orange-red paint are used to emphasize features; front human head has black brows and eyes; wide flat nose has orange-red nostrils; wide continuous orange-red lip band; prominent cheek ridges; ears on either side of head; back of head is yellow cedar with flat face depicted in incised circle; black brows; circular black eyes; broad flat nose with orange-red nostrils; wide continuous orange-red lip band. Body, shown only on front, has arms slightly extended and bent, elbows and forearms rest on eagle's brows, hands are downturned; legs are drawn up next to chest, four black claw-like toes on each foot. Eagle has black brows with horizontal rows of short orange- red lines; black bulbous eyes; thin sharp beak incorporates wide orange-red lip band, flattened semi-circular nostrils on either side; orbital ridge melds with cheek ridge which follows line of lip band; triangular depressed area under lower beak. On reverse, a leather strip is attached to either side by a singular stitch of white waxed cord, cord is also tied around leather. Signed inside: 'B' 'D'/87 'Dempsey Bob Tahltan Tlingit.' Unpainted wood is finished with oil.

Cut cedar bark, tied with white cord and folded around a folded piece of orange-pink cloth that is nailed to the upper rim; brown cord is loosely twined into cedar bark 2/3 from top rim. On reverse, a single green cord is passed through two holes at upper rim, looped and knotted through a hole at each temple; white cord binds green cord at upper rim; hole in bottom centre of chin.
Wooden paddle, painted and varnished on both sides. Design shows pencil marks, handle is red with small design of red and black bands. Lower section painted in red, black and blue. Blade is relatively flat with curved edges and tip, and handle is cylindrical near the centre of the paddle, but flattens towards the cylindrical handle grip.
Rectangular basket of simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches) with parallel slat base and lid construction. Partially imbricated and beaded. Two wires reinforce overcast rim, and leather strap hinges are sewn on. Copper handles are screwed into the sides. Alternating rows of imbrication and beading are arranged in a band of alternating cherry bark and cat-tail squares and a beaded section in cat-tail. Lid has similar design. The red bands are crabapple. Colours: black, tan.
Square, coiled basket (with bifurcated stitches) with centre divider with handle, braided looped border, and foot. Fully imbricated in black and red cherry bark in two rows of keyscroll design. Foot is alternating red and black. Watch spring base construction.
Rectangular cedar root basket consisting of simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches); parallel slat foundation; total imbrication. Rawhide handles overcast with cedar root and beaded. Convex lid. The coiled work consists of nine rows of elongated (two slat) stitches; beaded basket; fully imbricated. Two rows of stepped pattern in crabapple and black cherry bark. Along the top are shapes in black and along bottom are the same shapes in red. The lid is convex and flanged, and decorated with partial beading. Alternating crabapple/black cherry creating six wide rows going width of lid. Hinges are rawhide. Rawhide tips on lid connect with loops on basket. Colour: tan.
Part (a) Rectangular coiled basket with slat base and lid construction and bifurcated stitches on body, with lid, part (b). Fully imbricated in cat-tail grass (?) with designs of staggered horizontal bars of colour (red and black) eight stitches long. Lid is partially beaded with cat-tail grass (?), cherry and crabapple bark around rim, and three sections of horizontal bands of red and black beading. String tied at one long side.
Wooden plaque and counter stick stained reddish brown. The plaque (part a) has a straight edge and curved sides which give it a half-circle shape. On the surface is carved a zoomorphic face (bear) with widely spaced eyes and a wide mouth with teeth. Several vertical lines extend from the top of the piece to the top of the mouth. The carving is two dimensional. The stick (part b) tapers to a point, and has two engraved lines at the wider end. The plaque has two drilled holes with braided twine running through.
Brown birch bark basket with an oval-shaped top and a rectangular bottom. Bark is bent and laced into place with birch twine around the rim overcast with birch root and partially beaded with crabapple bark. Geometric and linear patterns are scratched onto the exterior sides, revealing a lighter shade of bark.
