Saucer shaped dish which is rough under the glaze. Edge has eight scallops. Inside has a spray of lotus-like flowers, leaves and a butterfly. Outer surface has two stylized red bats. There are two lines and a chain design around foot rim. Inside foot rim is rough with glue and dirt.

Set of four pieces, three square containers (parts a-c) and a cube or dice (part d). The containers have three sides with the same symbols painted on them. The fourth side of each differs. The sign for longevity (kotobuk) is on one side, the second has the sign for good luck (fuku), a third has the name of the sake (Kiku-Shiratsuyu). The fourth side of one piece (part a) is ichi-go, of another piece (part b) is go-go, and of the next piece (part c) is issho. The last piece (part d) has six equal sides, one is dancing, one singing, two ichi-go, one go-go and the last has issho.

Outside of cup has blue on white scene of house, trees, willow, mountain top, birds, boat and fish. There is a blue line around rim edge and 3 concentric blue lines around base. Inside at bottom is a gold leaf scene on brown of pagoda, rock, moon and birds. Around sides are 2 children playing with balls and there are 15 vertical lines of calligraphy. Inside lip rim has a brown band with gold "diaper" pattern. Inscription on underside of base with 2 characters.

Part a is a loosely woven yellow cloth, with each pair of corners tied at the sides; used to hold pairs of clam shells for kaiawase (貝合わせ), a shell matching game; the cloth has black calligraphy on the outside. There are seven pairs of cream coloured clam shells (parts b-o), with matching scenes painted on gold paper glued to the insides. The gold paper has dots and geometric patterns; each shell has a horizontal greenish band across it representing a river. The first pair (pts b-c) have red and blue flowers on the upper side. The next pair (pts d-e) have a branch with flowers and two white and black birds with red breasts on the upper half. The third (pts f-g) have brown grass and red and blue flowers in the upper half. The fourth pair (pts h-i) have red and blue flower sprays in the upper half, and the gold is rubbed off in a few places. The fifth pair (pts j-k) have a fence with blue and red flowers above. The sixth (pts l-m) have a brown log-like feature. The last pair (pts n-o) have three white flowers and one red flower in the upper section. Parts b-o have polished, natural shell exteriors.

Robe made from one piece of black satin, lined with red cotton. Open at sides and front with a narrow white collar. Two larger medallions at the chest and centre back as well as six smaller on the arms bottom back and bottom front, all with the same crane design embroidered in satin stitch with gold couching around head and eye. Two red cord ties attached at chest.
