Circular box with black on the inside and the bottom, and red on the outside. The box (part a) has a diamond-shaped geometric design around the sides. On top of the lid (part b) there is a picture of two figures in a mountainous landscape with a tree and the same diamond-shaped geometric design around the sides.

Cylindrical wooden canister with metal ends--canister's centre is wrapped in yellow, floral fabric. Canister's interior has ten carved vertical slots holding an assortment of eating utensils--a spoon, chopsticks, a knife, two prong-like objects, and a long tapered ivory stick. Canister's lid is tied to main object with a length of brown cord.

Cream coloured clam shell. Polished natural exterior. Splits in two: part a and part b. Interior is predominantly gold. Part a has a painted image of orange flowers with leaves near water(?). Part b has light green coloured band across centre of interior.

Bulbous-shaped vase that narrows at the neck and flares at the rim. Small circular foot. Vase has six defined sides. Upper portion of vase has bands of gold, red, blue, pink and brown floral and geometric designs. Lower portion of the piece is black and has larger vertical images of dragons alternating on gold and maroon coloured backgrounds.

Cup with everted rim and raised foot. Interior is decorated with a central flower in red and gold on white ground and a red band with gold decorations near rim. Exterior is decorated with an overall flower and vine design in dark blue on white ground.

Basket shaped container with loop handle connected to two opposite sides. Sides have very thin, rectangular holes in two bands around body; in between these bands is a thin band of floral decoration; other decorations of butterflies, crickets and geometric shapes. Part b is a lid with another band of rectangular holes with berries and leaves in high relief as a knob.

Diamond-shaped container with vertical sides and very slightly domed shoulder; one foot at each corner. Sides are decorated with two landscape scenes, each one covering two faces. One scene is of four people sitting by a river with hills and a mountain in the background. The other is of two people sitting on the ground with a mountain in the background. The rest of the surface is dark blue-black with gold metallic floral decorations. Base has three gold Japanese characters in its centre. The lid (part b) is domed with a central knob and is decorated with gold decorations on a dark blue-black ground.

Round bowl with rounded sides and raised foot. Bowl is of silver ? while foot is of clay. Exterior is decorated with brown and green floral design on yellow ground; a mark is stamped inside foot ring. Interior is plain metal.
