Bamboo arrow with pointed tip and geometric design carved into the bamboo near the tip. The design is accented with orange-red, white and brown pigment. The end of the arrow is notched and has thin strands of fibre wrapped around it. Fibre wrapped around the shaft, approximately one third of the way along the length from the tip.
A large ceramic vase with dark yellow-brown glaze that has a bit of a tinge of green in a few areas. The bulging body tapers down to a straight upright base and a neck which flares out into an open mouth that has protruding dots around the upper rim. Two head figures with a ring underneath are on opposite sides of the body.
Three-legged brown metal incense burner with a round body (part b), domed lid (part a), and a raised circular base (part c); the lid is covered with a perforated, scrolling floral design and topped by the miniature figure of a seated dog. Burner's sides are covered with eight applied figures, alternating between an orchid-like flower and a dog's head with a ring hanging from its mouth. The three legs on the burner are shaped like demon heads with protruding tongues. The circular, raised stand has a curving foot and is covered in a repeating petal-like pattern.
Silver, cylindrical Tibetan prayer wheel known as mani khorlo (མ་ཎི་འཁོར་ལོ།). The silver wheel is covered in repoussage metalwork, with two bands of Sanskrit text inscribed in Lantsa script conveying iterations of **||Om mani padme hum|, the sacred six-syllable mantra for Avalokitesvara. The same mantra is printed on thin paper and rolled around the cylinder’s core spindle, where it is hidden from view; a bud-shaped finial with a flat, circular base is featured on the top, while a metal chain with a polyhedron finial is attached to the side. Cylinder is mounted on dark brown wooden handle capped with metal, about which it turns.
Long, brown metal horn in four segments with a mouthpiece--last two segments are collapsible. Segments are divided by bulbous protrusions that ring the horn; the horn's rim and several of the dividing protrusions are flanked by patterned metal appliqués. The mouthpiece has a long shank and a large cup with a wide, flat rim; underside of the cup is covered in the remnants of a red, velvety material.
Long metal dagger with a circular metal guard and a wooden handle covered with trailing blue-grey fabric. Wooden scabbard (part b) is covered with dark black-brown skin and has a brass-coloured metal piece running down the centre.
Hollow metal sculpture of a dog with an open mouth and its right front paw resting on a ball; remnants of green, black, and red paint cover the figure. Dog wears a collar with three charm-like objects on it and has a red, curling tail.
Round bowl with brown coloured coconut shell sides. Both the top and bottom rims are lined with metal, as is the inside of the bowl. Carved into the coconut shell are alternating sections of bamboo(?) plant designs and Chinese characters in both green and cream. The underside of the bowl has four evenly spaced scalloped feet made of metal.
A light brown coloured fan woven out of plant fibres. The bottom of the fan curves around to a point at both sides and then curves up to a point at the top. Half of the fan is concave, and the other half of the fan is convex. The design is that of a darker black plant fibre having eight alternating rows emanating at a curve from the embedded handle point. The handle is wrapped around with an orange-brown braided plant fibre rope.
Square metal box (part b) with lid (part a). The box lid is gold-coloured metal with chips of turquoise arranged in a double outline of two concentric squares with a round design in the middle. Off of each side, there are triangular projections, two of which are inlaid with little turquoise stones while the other pair are bare. Underneath one inlaid triangle, there is a cylindrical loop, and under the other, there is an oval metal piece with a tiny ring attached. The box is grey metal and square with only two raised sides.
