This carving is more of a panel than a pipe because it lacks a bowl and any form of mouthpiece. The panel depicts a European on one side of an architectural structure with a dog (?) on the otherside. The structure is inlaid with bone. There is foliage and a tree represented on the panel.; Good
Possibly a fragment of a larger piece, this carving depicts a bird-like creature with overarching wings.; Good
Whalebone club inlaid with haliotis or abalone in a dot and groove pattern down the length of the blade. The bottom of the blade pattern ends in a human face, the same on both sides. The top of the handle is carved into the characteristic open mouthed bird-like profile, with an inlaid eye and grooves.; Good
A bark beater carved from whalebone. The handle of the beater is double ended, one being longer, and the other shorter with a round ended groove cut into its end. The slightly flared rectangular beater section has a cavity through its centre. Theunderside of the beater is scored with fourteen parallel grooves.; Good
A slightly curved bark beater with a flat handle cut out of the bone of a whalebone. The rectangular face of the beater has seven parallel grooves cut along its length. The handle terminates in a slightly wider and bifurcating section.; Good

The Accession Register entry reads A finely ground adze blade, wedge-shaped, with thick square-sided blade, the upper side of which is convex and curves to the square cutting edge; its flat under surface extends to the butt end: its upper surface, boldly convex, double-stepped and broadly channelled, is set back from the actual blade. A length of coiled rope is attached to a woven harness or bridle with a ?flower motif central decoration from which hangs several plaited tassels. The woven bands which comprise the bridle are decorated with black and light brown weaving. The shape of the bridle is hard to ascertain because it is wrapped in rope.; Good

Eight double feathered arrows with reed shafts and plain or barbed wooden heads. The feathers are lashed onto the shafts with bark or grass. Two arrows have the points missing.; Good
