Gilded, metal band bent into an oval shape. Incised design in a chevron pattern on outer surface. Textile pseudomorphs and 4 cm of off-white, woven textile adhering to outer surface near one end.
Heavy, round metal disc with one hole near edge. Textile fragment adhering to one side at edge. Slightly iridescent appearance overall.
Large, circular metal disc with hole off-centre. One side has pseudomorph of circle about 9 cm in diameter. The other side has a distinct textile pseudomorph with some fabric potentially still adhered to the object.
Small rectangle of brown cotton cloth veneered on one face with stem stitch embroidery. Frontal view of brown bodied creature with yellow and green wings and blue ears set against a red background. Two adjacent finished edges and two cut edges. Z-spun, and two plied s yarns.
Irregular, white cotton textile with row of six profile llamas (some partial) with double-headed snakes above their backs. Red and black llamas alternate, each with chevron stripes of yellow, black, blue, and red. The patterning is in a supplementary weft weave. One finished edge is partially intact and has three heading cords in place. The other fabric edges are oxidized or cut.
Cut piece of a narrow double cloth band in off-white and medium brown cotton. Central panel has faces with ears (felines ?) surrounded by 4 birds in radial symmetry; flanked by a series of solid coloured stripes and bands with profile birds in a simple repetition of alternating colours. Fragment of plain weave cloth neatly sewn to one weft selvedge. Coarse running stitches and overcasting stitches with several tufts of brown cotton threads along the other weft selvedges. Z-spun, 2 plied s yarns.
Rectangle of red cotton with four complete selvedges. Birds in bifold rotational symmetry interlock with similar designs in a contrasting colour. The designs are worked in supplementary warp and weft. Floats of dark yellow, dark blue and white yarns. The red ground cloth is loosely woven and the selvedges show no sign of having been sewn to another fabric. Z-spun, two ply s.
A roughly circular plaque with two rounded lobes. Slightly convex. There are two square holes at the outer edge. A large part of the circumference on one side is missing. Circular convex area at centre.
Cut piece of tapestry border with added fringe. Stripes of yellow, red and black flank a central panel with repeated zoomorphic creatures having human, feline and avian characteristics. The zoomorphic figures are repeated against chevron shapes of reds, yellows and browns. The figures are outlined in black. Parts of two loom widths are sewn together and a separately woven yellow fringe is sewn to one long side.
Red tapestry headband with five frontal male figures woven with camelid (alpaca ?) wefts on cotton warps. Yellow, green, white, black, brown and two shades of blue are used to define the angular figures who wear headdresses and hold staffs. The headband has cut wefts at the selvedges which are reinforced with stitched seams to retard fraying. Worn areas are mended with ancient thread. Z-spun, two ply s (alpaca) yarns; z-spun, two ply s, re-ply z (cotton).
