Simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches); parallel slat base and lid construction; slat side on lid and indented slat flange on basket body; overcast splint rim. Foot of two coiled slats. Lid: partially beaded; regular groupings in what appears to have been green and red, beading along sides as well. Sides: partial beading; vertical panels with double figure outlined in red against ground of bullrush with darker colours as well. Colour: tan.

Lid has large crossed stitch pattern over center. Sides: two series of bands in red with large green and red floral design in center. Lid: two circumferential sets of bands.
