The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Drum2995/1

Painted drum with a painted design of a bullhead fish. Round drum made of deer hide tightly stretched over a yellow cedar ring. The hide extends around the bottom of the ring where it is fastened to itself by 6 strands of sinew that extend out from the hide and meet in the centre where they are attached to a small piece of antler that also serves as a holder while the drum is being played. The painted image on the face of the drum is a black and red stylized fish with a forked tail, small black dorsal fin, three barbel-like extensions above its two large eyes and an open mouth displaying a set of sharp, pointed teeth.
