Kwatyaht and Mamasiyik2871/61

A red, bright blue, and black design consisting of a central design surrounded by other images along a black rectangular border. The central design is consisting of a shark figure with a fisherman on its back. A harpoon has pierced the back of the shark, releasing red curls of blood. The border has three images in rectangular blocks, the lower two in blue and the upper left in red. Pencil inscription along the bottom edge reads "Opetchesaht Tribe Kwatyaht and Mamasiyeek 65/75 by Hupquatchew". There is an embossing on the lower right corner for 'NORTH WEST COAST INDIAN ARTISTS GUILD member' with a salmon-trout head at the centre. The print is on vertically rectangular, olive green paper.

Poó witsa (Whaler's Dream)2871/62

Whaling themed print with red, bright blue, yellow, and black rectangular design. The central design consists of a thin red four-pointed cross-shape with the following black images in each corner, from the top right, clockwise: a whale tail; a lightning bolt with two semi-circles; rain and a wave?; and a whale dorsal fin with a bird face design. The surrounding images consist of the following, from the top right, clockwise: a red and black human in a blue boat; a red and black paddle; a red and blue human mask; a red and blue fish/whale, with teeth; a small black canoe; a red and black harpoon, with four yellow and red floats attached. Pencil inscription along the bottom edge reads 'Opetchesaht Tribe Poo'witsa 45/75 by Hupquatchew.' There is an embossed stamp on the lower right corner for the Northwest Coast Indian Artists Guild. Printed on vertically rectangular, light brown paper.

Eskimo Family Playing Ball2871/11

Image depicting five figures in black garments playing a ball game. There are two figures on the upper half of the image and three figures on the bottom half. Each figure is holding a piece of equipment, possibly a paddle or bat. The left most figure is holding two paddles. The ball is green and is at upper right. Small blue marks cover the image as well, possibly representing footprints. There are four rectangular shapes, two at the top and two at the bottom, perhaps representing goal posts. The title, materials, print number, location and date are written underneath the image in pencil. A Cape Dorset stamp is at lower right.

Composition with Caribou2871/13

Stonecut print of two large caribou facing each other and a smaller front facing caribou; their feet are on a large black outline resembling a fishtail shape. Inside the black outline are two kayakers facing each other. There is a Dorset stamp in the bottom right corner. Inscription along bottom: "Composition with Caribou Dorset '68 Stonecut 25/50 Pauta".

Print of red and blue serpent. Serpent has two separate red coils, blue head and red protruding tongue. Head faces right and has Northwest Coast ovoid eye outlined in red. Twelve horizontal blue lines in four groups of three below the serpent. "15/105 by Hupquatchew Opetchesaht Tribe 1972" are written in pencil underneath the image.

Going Fishing2871/33

Print depicting a seal, a bird, and two humans fishing. The two figures are located on the right side of the image. They are wearing black coats, gloves, pants and boots. One has a large fish in his hand and is looking up toward the other figure. To their left is a large bird with an extremely long neck, and a head that twists upward to look at a seal that is above it and to its left. Its body has short and long white dashes all over it representing feathers. The seal has a mouth that is slightly open and two flippers on its body. The print number, date and Inuit inscriptions are written underneath the image in pencil.

Watching Agloo2871/29

Stonecut print of a hunched figure in profile. The figure is a male hunter and holds a spear in his hand that is blocked by his body. Around the hunter’s head, there is furry detailing. The hunter is hunched in order to observe a hole in the ice, known as an agloo. On the right side of the image, near the lower corner, there is a stamp. The stamp comprises of a line attached to a circle. Written in pencil along the bottom of the image is the following: "Johnasie Puvirnituq ’61 watching agloo 26/40 5c 26."
