Man Becoming Seal Myth2871/26

Print of man, facing viewer, transforming into a seal. Has ovoid eyes with small black pupils, thin black eyebrows, and mouth turned upward into a smile. The right arm and left leg are flippers, while the rest of the body has human attributes. The title, print number, and artist name are written underneath the image in pencil. There is also an official stamp in red in the top right.

Birds on Innukshuks2871/15

A print depicting three birds on three inukshuks. Each bird is coloured in gradient, with top half black and gradually fading into green/blue. Some stones of the inukshuks are spotted white while others are coloured brown/green. The left hand bird has wings spread and stands on largest inukshuk. The smallest inukshuk is in the middle and the other two birds are facing left. There is a Cape Dorset black and red stamp in the upper right hand corner. Title, print number, date and artist name are written under the image in pencil.

Print depicting many images from village life arranged in four rows. Three igloos, two dog sleds, five seals, two fish and an Inuktituk at right of picture. Summer Caribou Hunt2871/6

Stonecut print in purple and black showing a human figure wearing a parka and holding a bow and arrow. The figure is following two caribou with large antlers. Inscription reads "Summer Cariboo Hunt Stone Cut 9/50 Baffin Island 1960 Kiakshuk".

Two Caribou2871/5

Print depicting two caribou in profile with one positioned in the foreground and the other behind it. In the foreground, the caribou faces proper left. This caribou is lying down. Its antlers are larger than those of the caribou behind it. The caribou in the background is standing and has its head bowed down, facing proper right. The position suggests that it is grazing but the face of this caribou is blocked by the rear of the front caribou. In the lower left corner is the series number 219/500 in pencil. There is a word written in ink in the lower right corner.

Power of Thought2871/1

Stonecut design of oval print with face at centre. The design has four bands, from centre the first is of orange circles within a green line, second is dark blue circles except there is one green circle in this band at the top of the image, this band is within an orange line, the third band is light blue circles within a dark brown line, the fourth band is large green triangles. The face has light blue detailing, and orange and brown eyes. Written in pencil at the bottom of the image are "Power of Thought 45/56 1976 Wm. Ukpatiku, Oonark." There are two stamps in the lower right hand corner of the image. One stamp is composed of yellow and pencil lines while the other is an embossed stamp.

Owl and Companion2871/9

Stonecut print on vertically rectangular light beige paper. Image in black of a large front-facing owl covered in feather like markings and round eyes. There is a smaller bird at its right side in profile facing left, heavily outlined in black. There are four stamps at bottom right: two red, one black (Dorset igloo stamp), and one dark grey . Pencil inscription along bottom of image reads "Owl and Companion Stone Cut # 42/50 Cape Dorset N.W.T. 1961 Lucy". The print is hinged to an off-white matboard window.
