Stylistic design of red and black wolf. Wolf head has large black ovoid eye and red bulbous nose. U-shaped mouth with teeth is open and red tongue extending outside of it. Tongue has black circle in middle of it. Head faces tail that encircles a front-facing face, which is red and has two black eyes, thick black eyebrows, open mouth outlined by red with bare teeth. Body is decorated with three separate faces. One on left in profile faces right, red with two eyes, mouth with teeth bare and outlined in red. One on right in profile faces left, red with two eyes, mouth with teeth bare and outlined in red. Face in centre in profile, facing upward, with thick black eyebrow, red nostril, mouth with teeth bare and outlined in red. Two paws at bottom, each with large red circles near claw-like fingers. 193/200, artist name, and location written in pencil.

There is a smaller bird at its right side in profile facing left, heavily outlined in black. There are four stamps at bottom right: two red, one black (Dorset igloo stamp), and one dark grey . Pencil inscription along bottom of image reads "Owl and Companion Stone Cut # 42/50 Cape Dorset N.W.T. 1961 Lucy". The print is hinged to an off-white matboard window.
