The Creation of Eve651/26

Print of man lying on the ground facing upwards with a woman rising from his rib. Large bird arches over the two human figures at the top of the print. Overall colours are black, and red on a white background. A handwritten inscription at the bottom of the print reads: " 85/100 Feb. 77. 'The Creation of Eve' Roy Henry Vickers Tsimshian Tribe Kitkatla B.C." There is an embossed with a circular inscription that reads: " Canadian Native Prints Limited." There is an embossed salmon design in the centre of the stamp.

Print of a human figure in a canoe. The canoe is black and flared at each end. The body of the figure is red, the face and hands are blue, and the eye is black. Rounded blue waves line the bottom of the canoe. Overall colours used are red, black, and blue. The background of the print is white. Man Frog LegendNb3.1365

Serigraph print. Bold design of a human figure in a frog mouth, with the human face at the centre. Figure is bound by a wide red mouth with eyes above and a red band across the centre dropping below the chin. The figure's right forearm and upper arm are parallel and his right hand parallel to the upper band. His left arm is out to the side with the hand flat to the ground. Figure has black and white banded ribs, asymmetrical eyes with double black and white circles at the centre. Figure is surrounded by a large open mouth of a blue frog, showing teeth with red detail and red nostrils. Major joints are double ovoids. Above the top band, on either side, there are large red ovoids with black and white eye shapes at the centre surrounded with blue. Blue flowing line outlines all. Red band frames the print. Pencil inscription along the bottom edge reads '70/100 Man Frog Legend Cranmer 78'. The print is on horizontally rectangular, light brown paper.

Halibut Fishing651/9

Print of a human figure in a canoe. Human is holding two pieces of fishing line over each end of the canoe. There are halibut hooks attached to the ends of the fishing line. A circular salmon head(?) design is in between the two fishing lines and is below the boat. Four blue circular wave designs are up against the side of the black canoe. The human is red and has a blue face with a black mouth. Pencil inscription below: 48/100 "Halibut Fishing" AThompson 8/78. Circular embossed stamp in corner: "Canadian Native Prints Limited." There is a faint design of a salmon in the middle.
