Mammal bone tool, ground and polished, broken to a point at wide end. Other end is split down middle about 1/3 of length, and other half is missing. This artifact has no field form and is not mentioned in Carlson's 1956 thesis. Any provenience info comes directly off artifact. R. Williams 2/4/98

Thirteen bird long bone fragments. Original paper field bag had "birdbone level 1" written on the outside in pencil. The artifacts in this level bag are assumed to be associated with the Burroughs 1949 excavation, based on the site designations on the bag, as well as the date of the excavation. Many similar level bags were found in the Archaeology Lab in 1997-1998. There is no level bag list in the documents (see Burke Archives) from Burroughs' excavation, and the level bags were not numbered.
