Five talus bones. Found in a paper bag labelled "Deer". Bag also contained elements of sites SJ2 and SJ25. The bones had "185/2" written on them in grease pencil. The artifacts in this bag are assumed to be associated with the Burroughs 1949 excavation, based on the site designations on the bag, as well as, the age of the bag. Many similar level bags were found in the Archaeology Lab in 1997-1998. There is no level bag list in the documents (see Burke Archives) from Burroughs' excavation, and the level bags were not numbered. The bag contains one talus bone. Found in bag labelled "Deer". Bag also contained elements from sites 2, 5, 185. The bone had "5c" written on it in grease pencil. The artifacts in this level bag are assumed to be associated with the Burroughs 1949 excavation, based on the site and subsite (letter) designations on the bag, as well as the date of the excavation. Many similar level bags were found in the Archaeology Lab in 1997-1998. There is no level bag list in the documents (see Burke Archives) from Burroughs' excavation, and the level bags were not numbered.
