Teapot (a) with handle and lid (b). Body shaped like a squat sphere, on 3 ball feet; with spout projecting from one side, flat on top, rounded underneath. On each side of body is a dragon in relief, highly stylized and convoluted. Around edge of mouth is row of c-shaped designs with ends curled in (resembling ju-i lappets) also in relief. U-shaped loop handle riveted to lugs at shoulder. Lid is round and flat, with overlaid stylized dragon, raised portion of body forming handle. Smooth shiny finish with yellow/brown patina on undersurface, dull finish on top.
Folding fan with thirty-three inner ribs of split bamboo and two bamboo parent ribs. Covered on both sides with white paper printed on one side with dark blue band at upper edge, painted with leaves and flowers in light and dark red, light blue, and grey. Rivet of light yellow plastic, through which is threaded a cord of white silk 14cm. long (double) on which is threaded an imitation pearl.

Box and lid are intricately decorated with floral and faunal designs outlined by circles and geometric borders; two sides of box are decorated with what appear to be deer; one end is decorated with a crane; other end is decorated with what appears to be a turtle; lid is decorated with two indistinguishable animal figures facing one another and is very worn. Interior of box is also lined with wood.
